About me

Hi there! My name is Taylor! I’m so excited to begin working together.

I’m a wife of 8 years to my amazing husband Blake, dog-mom to a Labradoodle Remington “Remy” Taco and unapologetic mom to four rambunctious daughters, Spencer Jo (6 years old), Sawyer Monroe (4 years old), and Brady Rae (2 years old) Ellie Mack (1 year old).

My passions include: sarcasm, red wine, The Office, big earrings, red wine, boys names for girls, wine, Maybelline lip stain, white wine, and all things pretty. Oh, and did I mention wine? Kidding, sort of. I love to have FUN, and my mission is to make your project as enjoyable and stress-free as possible!

I started my career in political and corporate events, after my husband and I started growing our family, I began designing nurseries and updating our home. Once I began showing off home pictures to the insta-verse, I started getting requests with design dilemmas or even whole room remodeling!

I love the design and planning process so much, from having an idea in my head to finally seeing it come to life, I realized I had a new dream.

And so, Olive & Pop Design & Organization was born.

No matter your specific needs, my mission is to create spaces that match your vision, fit with your lifestyle, and be a place you can call home.

I have three core philosophies - First, I believe that gorgeous décor and flawless organization should be affordable & attainable! I love repurposing what you already own - maybe give that old lamp a new shade to make a perfect addition to your playroom, or pair your arm chair with a new ottoman for a revamped look. Update your throw pillows and you have a new look for Summer!

Second, I don’t think you should ever have to sacrifice style to be family-friendly. The trick is finding stunning, yet sturdy, décor and finding ways to make your space work with how you actually live in your home! Your toy storage doesn’t have to be an eye sore, and there’s doesn’t have to be a pile of mail always on your counter. I’m here to help you find smart, maintainable solutions & style that work for you!

Third, no matter what you’re doing, the process should be FUN! We have plenty of things to be stressed out about, your lives are chaotic and filled with mundane task beautiful design should not add to that. From start to finish, I try to make the process as enjoyable as possible, so pour that glass of wine, and let’s get started!
